I have SO MANY things that are inspiring to me to post here that I don't think I'll ever have the time to do it. Watched "Lost in Translation" this dawn again. 'Till 6:30AM. That movie cracks my head in two all the times. It's like... everytime I see it it gets deeper and deeper, hysterically funny but also enormously touching. And I laugh hard, and cry ever harder. The best part of it? This one right down. One of the best scenes between a couple in the history of movies... Charlotte: I'm stucked. Does it get any easier? Bob: No... Yes. It gets easier. Charlotte: Oh, yeah? Look at you! - laughs Bob: Thanx... They laugh. Bob: The more you know who you are and what you want, the less you let things upset you. Charlotte: Yeah... I just don't know what I'm supposed to be, you know? I tried being a writter but... I hate what I write and... I tried taking pictures, but they were so mediocres, you know? Every girl goes through a photography phase, you know? Like horses, you know? Take dum pictures of you feet... Bob: You'll figure that out. I'm not worried about you. Keep writing... Charlotte: I'm so medium. Bob: It means okay... Charlotte: What about marriage? Does it get easier? Bob: That's hard. We use to have a lot of fun. Lydia would come with me when I made the movies and we laughed about it all. Now she doesn't wanna leave the kids. And she doesn't need me there. Kids miss me but they're fine. It gets a whole lot complicated when you have kids... Charlotte: Yeah, it's scary... Bob: The most terrifying day of your life is the day the first one is born. Charlotte: Nobody tells you that! Bob: Your life as you knew it is gone. Never returns. But they learn how to walk and how to talk and you wanna be with then. And they turn out to be the most delightful people you'll ever meet in your life! Charlotte: Hummm... That's nice. Bob: Where did you grow up? Charlotte: I've grown up in New York then mved to Los Angeles where John and I got married but...it's different there. Bob: Yeah, I know. Charlotte: John thinks I'm sort of snobby... Bob - laughs: You're not hopeless...
